Ever since I transplanted the Cayenne Peppers they have been growing significantly less compared with Andy's pepper plants. I believe the main reason is that they became quite root-bound and needed time to really take root in the larger pots. There has been significant progress this past week with development of tons of leaves (the "bushy" stage that Andy observed a couple weeks ago). There overall appearance is much healthier and they are making progress with vertical growth as well. I also think the cooler ambient temperature of my room compared to Andy's garage is a lesser factor in slower growth. I plan to experiment with adding a little more heat to the room using my space heater.
